Tim is a finance guy who knows what balance is all about – and not just on a balance sheet. With over 25 years of financial analysis, corporate reporting and project accounting experience in manufacturing, aerospace, high-tech, construction and in the public sector, he also has 30 years experience as a part-time+ entrepreneur. Tim believes in sharing his skills and experience with the community and has a 30-year volunteer career.
Providing accounting and tax services for individuals, small business and corporations, he also prepares business plans.
He finds volunteering rewarding and encourages others to get involved as a way to build community, gain experience, learn, network and have fun. His experience includes 25 years with Canada Revenue Agency Volunteer Tax Program as a preparer assisting the low-income population.
He began coaching sports teams at age 17 and coached a total of forty teams. In 2009, he was honoured in the Hockey Hall of Fame for his 30-year accomplishments in coaching hockey. Recently, Tim served as Chair Person on the Foundation Board for 3 years at a not-for-profit senior’s care facility and served 3 years on the Board of Directors. He served as Chairperson for 4 years on the Conestoga College Program Advisory Committee and spent many years on the committee. Tim enjoys music, playing hockey and guitar.
